Organic Coffee is grown without artificial fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides, protecting the health of the farmers and the environment. Many of the coffee-growing regions of the world are found in countries where there is little or no regulation of toxic chemicals. These are typically used on conventionally-farmed coffee, subjecting workers and their families to a host of short- and long-term health problems, and adding toxic elements to the soil and water of the region.

Organic Coffee is generally shade-grown, providing habitats for a variety of birds and preserving the biodiversity of the environment.

As organic market farmers ourselves, we appreciate the importance of protecting people and the planet. We are committed to purchasing and roasting ONLY organic coffee, and we are certified as an organic roasting facility by the State of New Hampshire.
